Since 1970, we have provided results-oriented project management and management information systems design and implementation services to over 100 firms. MDLA is an independent business consulting firm, unaffiliated with any hardware or software vendors, taking a management view in its approach: planning and implementing technology and procedures to improve your firm's cost structure, competitive position and profitability, and your business objectives and strategies. 

Management consulting clients typically are owners or representatives of large construction jobs where claims and change orders potentially could amount to millions of dollars. Our theme has been to increase labor productivity, control costs, and provide quality data for better management of client companies and their projects.

How We Do What We Do

The services agreed upon will be carried out in a manner best satisfying your needs, and in accordance with the Code of Professional Practice of the Institute of Management Consultants, to which our consultants belong. While every client's needs are different, this arrangement will be either on a time-in-service basis for a stipulated period of time, or on a project assignment for which there is a well-defined scope of work and schedule of deliverables. And, of course, the confidentiality of our client relationship will be protected.

Since technology is rapidly changing and each client and client project varies, we assemble teams to best suit the evolving user-friendly technology as it is applied to solving business problems. Reengineering of business processes to best utilize the latest technologies is a hallmark of our practice. 

A very large part of our business is repeat business from prior clients; much of our business is referral from satisfied prior clients. We aim to make our systems work to further business’ strategic goals. We also like to leave our clients self-sufficient, able to carry on by utilizing their own staff.
